Siân Wilkins studied for four years at Brighton College of Art for the honours degree in graphic design which led to a career as one of the UK advertising industry’s most lauded and sought-after Art Directors.
One of her recent works has been shortlisted for the prestigious Conversation Prize given by the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. The exhibition runs from April 15th to May 1st at the Mall Galleries in the Mall.
Her watercolours are exhibited in galleries across the south of England, including the Francis Iles Gallery in Rochester, the Edward Ash Gallery in Farnborough and The Studio in Otford. She is a regular exhibitor at the Glyndebourne Gallery and her watercolours have featured on Christmas Cards and the annual souvenir ceramics for the Opera House.
In 2014, two of her works were selected for the prestigious Parker Harris Sunday Times Watercolour Competition exhibition at The Mall Galleries, London. She lives in rural East Sussex and perennially haunts the back canals and outlying islands of Venice, Italy.
